About Us

Australia-China International Health Interchange (ACIHI) is an organization based in Sydney, developing, organizing and implementing study tours for Australian health care professionals, students, and anyone who is interested to gain knowledge and skills in various fields of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)---including Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and Chinese therapeutic massage.

A Brief Profile on Your ACIHI Support Team

Nelie Hongxiu Gao:  B.TCM-China, Higher Education Teaching Cert.-China, GradDip Public Health-UNSW, B. Nursing-ACU. Nelie had worked as a TCM doctor and clinical teacher for 13 years in China. She is an  accredited member of ATMS and ATCMA. Nelie is a council member of Gynaecology Branch, world federation of Chinese medicine societies (WFCMS).

Lufan Zhang: Vice President of the First Teaching Hospital, Tianjin University of TCM. She heads up Foreign Students and Practitioners’ Education.

Shujuan Yang: Director of Foreign Affairs Office of the First Teaching Hospital, Tianjin University of TCM.

Zhen Wang: Deputy of President of the Second Teaching Hospital, Tianjin University of TCM. Vice Chief Physician of Western Medicine. He heads up Medical and Educational affairs for this hospital.

Pingzhong Ma: Director of Foreign Affairs Office of the Second Teaching Hospital, Tianjin University of TCM. Vice Chief TCM Gynecologist. Pingzhong is a council member of Gynaecology Branch, WFCMS.
